Implementation of a decision-making solution

Trimane is a digital services company (ESN) specializing in auditing, design and implementation of Business Intelligence and Big Data projects. With around a hundred consultants specializing in BI, Trimane works on the most innovative solutions on the market.

Trimane is based in Paris and Toulouse.

The proposed internship relates to a project launched internally with the aim of improving the management reporting of its activities. The reporting needs relate to different areas which will be documented throughout the internship. As an example for the first areas awaiting a management tool: monitoring projects carried out by Trimane on behalf of its customers, monitoring invoicing, monitoring times entered, monitoring commercial action, etc.

The project will build on the tools currently deployed within SI Trimane.

The objective of this internship is to build on the rules of the art when it comes to implementing a decision-making suite. It concerns the design and development of data collection, control and storage processing on the one hand and the creation of a management dashboard on the other hand.

– Define the needs in terms of data, KPIs and functionalities expected by future users

– Design the solution and write the technical specifications

– Develop and test the solution

The project will be executed in agile mode.

During the internship, the task  may be changing to adapt to the constraints of the company. In the event of a significant modification, it will under the approval of the parties involved in the agreement.

Rapid operational results are expected.

Strong knowledge in the design and development of decision-making systems is required. Proficiency in python or Talend and PowerBI is essential.

The ideal profile is rigorous, organized, technically creative, and capable of autonomy.

The intern will be supervised throughout the internship on all technical aspects (analysis, design and development phases).

The planned duration of the internship is 6 months. It will ideally take place at the premises of Trimane in Paris or Toulouse. Teleworking is possible and the conditions will be decided together.

The start date of the internship is scheduled for April 2021. This is a paid pre-employment internship.
